Our church had not had a resident pastor in over 40 years! So it was exciting when our pastor and his family moved to Walker.
We had no parsonage for him. Oh my, what can we do? Good Methodists form a committee. Here they are at the ground breaking in March of 1998
Well, after much discussion and looking, we decided to build a new home.
At our ground breaking we had a whole bunch of people from our church. Here are a few pictures:
What a day it was! Praise the Lord!!
This is it! We got it up so the family could move in in less than 60 days! People from Walker helped who weren't a part of our church; it was a community project. We love you Walker!
